Comment: This place is awesome. I went in to take a passport photo and the older gentleman (maybe the owner?) could not have been more helpful. He took care of me quickly and efficiently. He even looked over my passport renewal application (that is confusing to be quite frank). He even knew the exact dollar amount and who to write the check to. They provided unbelievable service to a random guy walking in and they said hi to about 10 regulars when I was there for about 10 minutes. If I will likely go there for all of the postal needs I have even though I live 30 min away. Some seriously fantastic service and help with a confusing process from this place.

Comment: This is just an update and weve been with this particular Postal Annex for over 10 years and they continue to be the best!Prior to this, we had been with at least three or four other postal services and this location has been and still is, by far the best!Everyone there has always been great and now with Gracie and Phoebe, better than ever!The previous places we tried were ok, but some looked like mini flea markets, very unorganized, and also didnt provide the kind of service this particular business offers. They do sell other items, but it is well organized and they seem to be selective in what they offer. The owners are hands on and everyone there are just nice people!!Plus, we have had a post office box all along and they are great at sending anything you might have, but also receiving items, which is key for us! No need to be at home to receive mail and packages, nor to stand in line at USPS to send out packages!I hate sound like a commercial, but this Postal Annex in La Mesa is the best and has always been!The best we’ve found!!! We’ve been using various postal places for almost 40 years and due to a closer service closing, we stumbled across PA in La Mesa.This PA is not like the typical PA or any other postal service! The owners are there everyday, providing the public with personal attention and service!! We’ve been with them for many years now, and have no plan.....or reason to change!!

Comment: We have had to use several mailbox type stores over the years in various states and San Diego locations for business. This is by far the best one we have ever experienced! This is our third year with them and as long as we do business in this area, we will never leave them. The family team that owns it truly cares about their customers! The husband and wife are always there working hard. Reminds me of how hard my parents worked in their stores. They have done so many wonderful accommodations for people during this difficult season. If you have medical conditions that prevent a mask or face shield, they dont treat you like a 2nd class citizen because you have a disability. If you are high risk, they will do curbside for any of their services with just a phone call into the store. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate everyone during this tough time without making people feel bad. I wish more stores were so caring and competent!

The customer service is so fabulous at Postal Annex of La Mesa - a true gold standard! A great place for buying cards, interesting gifts and, of course, mailing anything. They even sell cute boxes to make your gift mailings look extra special.

Comment: I travel a lot so I need a box, but I hate going to the Post Office due to their often long lines, inadequate parking, limited services, etc.Then I discovered this Postal Annex outfit. They also provide private mailboxes and handle packages, certified mail and such, but theyre way faster, friendlier and they offer a lot more services. They even forward my mail to me when Im out of town, and when Im in town, I can usually pull right up to the front door, pop-in and pop-out with my stuff. Way better.

Comment: Wanted to thank the kind lady and gentleman that helped me ship a Halloween package today. They were attentive to details and bubble wrap the item and provided a box that fit the item. And they wrapped it in nice tape that I didnt purchase. The gentleman kept his word to help me after I had purchased the item that I needed to ship. The lady explained to me when it would be ship and helped me make a shipping label. The service was beyond my expectation and beyond what I could get at the other postal services. And the item I was going to ship would have been declined at other places. Overall my experience there was great. I left the place happy with a smile. Comment: For many years I have come to this Postal Annex and I have been pleased every time. Many staff know me and are very friendly. I have never seen them rude to or ignore patrons. I have printed huge volumes of information and bound them there. I have mailed USPS & other packages including UPS/FEDEX/DHL. Yes, sometimes they can be very busy especially during the holidays. But, that is to be expected!

An older lousy mailing company had a similar address number as this business causing confusion.
