Comment: Mandy Kaur is by far the best person I have ever dealt with at UPS. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had a situation where I shipped out a package internationally. This package was shipped and later returned to my address due to missing commercial invoice. I called UPS several times to stress my concern and I dealt with very rude and uneducated individuals. Some confused me even more by telling me to insert the commercial invoice inside of the package. I kept getting mixed information so I went to the UPS store on Gerber where I met Mandy. Mandy was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She went as far as calling UPS and explaining my situation to both international and regular. I was very frustrated because I have been going back and forth about two days with different representatives on whether or not I can use the same shipping label to ship out the item again. International was saying no I cannot use the same label and the customer services representatives from here were saying yes because it didn’t leave the US. It kept going back and forth for two days. Mandy saw how concerned and upset I was and took control of the situation and turned it into something so great. She took the time to deal with my situation and was patient. I cannot thank her enough for making my experience so great. I was about to quit on UPS completely because of the rude and uneducated employees they have via email and phone. The customer service at UPS needs to improve and you can start by taking examples and jotting notes from Mandy Kaur. Mandy if you are readying this, thank you. You are an amazing person. UPS corporate please recognize Mandy on a great job she did. We need more Mandy’s.

Comment: Disclaimer: I tend to write positive reviews with a dash of self-reflection.Today, I visited two UPS stores: UPS on Florin Road and UPS on Calvine Road. I had an I-9 for a prospective job that needed to be completed by a Notary Public. I have worked many jobs and had never seen something like this before so I was wont to believe the feedback I received from the Calvine and Florin Road location. With that having been said, I can understand why the first two stores werent sure how to support me. I do appreciate the first store referring me to the Calvine Road location. The Calvine Road location said that what I was asking for which was I need to have my I-9 notarized was illegal, which is a correct statement. So, I learned that my wording was asking for them to break the law. They did say that they could complete page 2 of the I-9 but could not complete the final page which was not part of the legal document of the I-9. I learned that word choice did and remains to matter. Read on for more clarification.I went to my car and stared at the paper, knowing that my company has moved forward hundreds upon 1000s of candidates in the state of California in spite of being a Florida-based company. So ... I called another UPS store, this Gerber store location. I explained my situation and suggested that perhaps I was in the wrong and had the wrong form. Turns out not too long ago, this store would have turned me away, too, were it not for another customer having a similar request. To confirm they could help me before driving their way, they requested I send a picture to their stores email. I sent it to them and they offered to stay on hold or for me to call back, which I thought was kind considering they had a line out the door and differently-trained staff present (I later learned).I showed up and they took care of the paperwork without a sitch. I guess this kind of paperwork involving a notary seal is very fresh for Notary. Just be aware that the I-9 document itself cannot be stamped upon, however, the additional page your company provides, may be able to be.Long story, short -- I learned I am still very impatient and I learned that paperwork is evolving to make it more efficient to hire people faster.I hope this posting helps another person with the same situation I was in. It will save you time to call ahead and persevere to email locations if you want support. I included a picture of the form my company provided me that was an additional page that is apart from the I-9.Also, thank you Mandy. Very much.

Comment: I have been an e-commerce business owner for a 5 years now and have used many carriers to ship my orders. Over time I noticed that this UPS Store has been more reliable than any other carrier in the Sacramento area. The owner and manager are incredibly helpful, professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of the shipping business. I have completely stopped using the US Postal Service due to an unbelievable amount of delays/late shipments that they have attributed to the current COVID situation. I have never had an issue This specific UPS location to date; and for this reason I have made this location my primary location to ship hundreds of orders a month through them. The quality of service is EXCELLENT!

Comment: Sending a last minute package, trying to find someone to ship it. Fedex last shipping is at 4:30. I talked to a rep at 4:25 while I was at the light he told me I would make the shipping time. I got there about 4:26 and walked out at 4:27. Last drop off is at 4:30 not 4:25. The truck had been there and left already. So on my way to the airport I call UPS store and a delightful voice came over the line and gave me time to make it to her store to ship my package out. I was going through hard time for applying visa for my kids & have to do many run arounds due to worst experience with Indian Consulate in short phrase 3rd class service. But these guys have helped me out throughout the process for shipping & making copies even they don’t make much from me as I was forced to buy pre paid envelope from the consulate still these guys provided awesome service regardless I didn’t give much business to them this is true human touch & best experience ever in my life no words to express my gratitude towards them (Owner 2 all employees) seems family business & what a great family kudos to you guys...

I had a bad experience a few years ago with their notary so I completely stopped going there. Recently needed to do a return for Amazon and they provided me with this ups stores info to drop off my return. I must say the experience was so much different from my last. There is a special charm about this place and I’m so glad I have my things come here. It’s such a great place that I moved to Oakland and still refuse to change the address.
