Comment: I’m a travel nurse who uses UPS shipping to ship my luggage and belongings. I stayed in Oakland 7 months so I had quite the load! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a smiling owner and staff! Even brought the cart out and helped me unload. I made several trips and each time they were smiling and so friendly! Made me feel like family! They packaged all of it and it was a lot! However, I had never received such friendly, efficient, timely ( I mean quick. Never had to wait) service ! Ever!! Because of the service I received here at this UPS, I recommend them to all my friends going to Oakland or living in Oakland! THE BEST SERVICE AND UPS STORE !! I’d give them 100 stars 🌟 !

Comment: I had a complicated set of returns to make in large packages, and needed help printing labels.This team handled everything with grace and patience. Instead of charging me a packing fee or for a full roll of tape, they let me borrow one of their rolls so I could do it myself. I was a little unhappy that one cardboard box cost $30, but it was a large one and I think upcharging on those items occurs anywhere.Great experience and Ill be back (though perhaps with my own box next time).

Comment: The manager and staff are always a pleasure to work with, this time proved it yet again. My last visit made me realize how this UPS store makes sure they do not over charge their customer. I was in a hurry to ship something to Canada (Small box of clothing for family) I happend to be near a FedEx location that day so Iwalked in to get a quote. The wanted to charge me $180 for a small box of clothing!!!! I walked out and decided to drive to my trusted UPS Store on 5627 Telegraph Ave. I was welcomed by the manager who was working to help customers that day. He was friendly as always and provide me with an amazing shipping quote of $49 !!!! compared to FedEx at $180. My packaed was shipped with UPS and Arrived the next week (That includes the customs clearance). I could not be more happy with the service. ME and my family will be a customer for life!

Comment: Not only do they provide the service they claim, but they do it well. I needed a notary this morning and went to Montclair UPS first. They usually have one but the notary had quit. When I asked for recommendations for another, she said to look on google. I then called the UPS store on Piedmont Ave which had an automated service that said they have a notary every day. I drove to Piedmont Ave store only to be told they do not have a notary but Piedmont Express does. I drove down the street and parked right in front and saw that the store doesnt open until 10am. Instead of waiting for it to open in 10 min hoping a notary is available, I drove to this UPS store on Telegraph. When I walked in, the woman behind the counter was already helping someone else. But VK Chopra was sitting behind the desk and asked if I needed a notary. I couldnt believe the service! I was ecstatic to finally encounter someone who could not only provide me with the service I needed but also with kindness and politeness! The store was clean, calm, and also offers short term parking for free. This will be my go to location for UPS/shipping/notary needs.

Comment: I come here at least once a week if not more to drop off deliveries for my work and have had nothing short of an excellent experience. The workers and owner are kind and have been willing to help me with packaging materials(tape and packing slips) for free even though they don’t have to. I have also never had to wait for more than a minute or two even on a busy day. There can be limited parking but I have not had any trouble parking on the street. Honestly the best UPS store in Oakland.

Comment: When you’re looking up UPS locations, more have 2 or 3 stars because people only review them if they’re awful, which they often are. I was intrigued by the excellent review average for this location. I’ve been there before to ship stuff, usually to drop off packages with prepaid labels, and it’s been fine. They also do passport-sized pictures. They can do them any time, and it takes 10 or 15 minutes. It’s pricy for two tiny photos, but they do them properly and whatever you need them for, you want it done right. The staff is friendly and helpful and they work quickly. There always seems to be plenty of parking on the streets nearby.

I still give it 5 stars because at first it was great there is no denying that. Give the place a try. It is nice. It is worth giving it a try.But my experience has changed from before... Whenever I have a question people get frustrated with me. Why when I am a customer asking a question. If I am right or wrong, I do not get the respect as a customer any longer. I get shoulder shrugs, interrupted when trying to talk, the tone used to talk to a child, or talked to like I am dumb. It is no longer like before. I am not treated like a customer. I am treated like a friend or coworker and I am not. I have given up at this point. I tried a second time but the respect is not there. I only want to be respected as a customer. As much as I have tried as a customer... I am disrespected. My packages I have given up on and have gotten refunds. I do not know what to do anymore. Why bother with providing tracking numbers. I cant even ask a question. This is why I do not open up. But when I first went there it felt like a welcoming place.

Comment: One of the few UPS stores that actually answers their phone regularly! The hours listed on Google Maps are accurate and they are open on Sundays which is very rare. Props for that! The only thing is they should practice better social distancing by having a line outside and only a couple customers inside the store at a time which is what the Powell Street Emeryville location does and I really appreciate that.

Comment: VK, Monice, Rahm, Luna, & Alex are wonderful ❤ Walking in there is like visiting friends. They see you at your worst and help. Its fun to go in because I listen to the music while in line and am happy to hear songs I forgot about that I love. The only thing I do not like is when customers block other customers while dropping someone off or parking because they have to do something. Blocking someone from getting into their car and leaving is extremely disrespectful. Be more considerate people. Park behind someone or something but do not block others. There is nothing you can say to justify those actions. Other than that, this place is 5 star!!

The woman who was sending the fax got the number wrong, she sent every document twice, and the folks behind the counter were so calm and generous the whole time. That next morning I drove over and talked with the store owner who was extremely helpful and allowed me to look around for it. Comment: Just notice this new UPS store and went to give it a try.Came in to drop of two Amazon packages and was in and out in about 2 minutes.It was really fast and easy.Monica was the one that helped me. They also stay open later than some other UPS stores.If your driving towards Berkeley, its better to make a u turn on 57th st or just take 57th St and just loop around, since oncoming traffic will be a problem.Its also best to park on the street than into their parking lot, since it will be easier on you

The staff are SUPER friendly, which makes all the difference to us. They even patiently entertained my daughter (and even gave her some toys to play with!) while I got some critical work done.
